This weekend's UK premiere of the 8-hour Event series on Channel 4, WORLD WITHOUT END, based on Ken Follett's worldwide bestseller novel, got off to a very strong start for the network. Channel 4 reports that their peak was up several points over this time last year due to the show's airing. The next episode will air on January 19th at 9pm.

Channel 4's digital channel, MORE4, aired the first episode of the 2-part Event documentary, KEN FOLLETT'S JOURNEY INTO THE DARK AGES, at 8pm as a lead-in to WORLD WITHOUT END which had a 9pm start time. The documentary had MORE4's highest rating of the day, increasing the digital channel's market share for the day considerably.
