Tom Felton (Harry Potter 1-9, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Anna and the King, The Apparition), otherwise known as Harry Potter nemesis, Draco Malfoy, has signed on to play a fascinating historical character in the 4-hour adaptation of Kate Mosse's worldwide bestseller, Labyrinth. Felton (24) takes on the role of Raymond-Roger de Trencavel, Viscount of Carcassonne, who died in 1209 (also at the age of 24) a martyr, trying to protect his Cathar citizens from genocide.

The 4-hour miniseries adaptation of Kate Mosse's 2006 run-away international bestseller was written by Adrian Hodges (Primeval, Charles II, My Week with Marilyn) and is helmed by writer/director Christopher Smith (Black Death, Triangle). Labyrinth, which began principal photography on October 10th in Carcasonne in the Aude/Cathar Country in the South of France, also stars John Hurt (Harry Potter, ALIEN, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy), Sebastian Stan (Captain America, The Apparition, Gossip Girl), Jessica Brown-Findlay (Downton Abby, Albatross), Vanessa Kirby (The Hour, Great Expectation 2011), Dame Janet Suzman (Nicholas and Alexandra, A Dry White Season), Katie McGrath (Merlin, The Queen), Claudia Gerini (The Passion of the Christ, Under the Tuscan Sun) Emun Elliot (Game of Thrones, Black Death), Matthew Beard (An Education, One Day, Hippie Hippie Shake) and Danny Keogh (Invictus, The Devil's Whore).
