TANDEM COMMUNICATIONS is located in Munich, Germany and was started in 1999 by Rola Bauer and Tim Halkin. In 2007 Jonas Bauer became a partner in the company and in 2009 Malisa Scott joined as partner and Chief Operating Officer. From the beginning, their strategy was to build a vertically-integrated media company whose core business is international production and worldwide distribution. From the ground-breaking Golden Globe® nominated series, Ken Follett’s The Pillars of the Earth, to the Emmy® Award winner Frank Herbert’s Dune to the Golden Globe® nominated The Company, to the Emmy® nominated Dragons’ World, TANDEM continues to develop, produce, market and distribute high-quality projects.
TANDEM produced the DIVA Award-winning Ring of the Nibelungs that garnered excellent ratings on the SyFy Channel in the U.S., as well as internationally. Lost City Raiders, a TANDEM event movie, also aired in the U.S. on the SyFy Channel and internationally to superb ratings. Impact premiered successfully in the U.S. on ABC Network. In 2008, TANDEM launched the Nora Roberts franchise and in 2009, TANDEM launched the new Patricia Cornwell movie franchise with At Risk and The Front, based on her worldwide bestselling crime novels.
In 2010, TANDEM produced The Lost Future starring Sean Bean, shot on location in South Africa. The movie aired in the U.S. on the SyFy Channel.
Currently in post-production is Treasure Guards, an event movie shot on location in South Africa, starring Anna Friel and Raoul Bova, which will be delivered in second quarter 2011.

Scott Free Productions was formed in 1995 and is the film and television production vehicle of acclaimed film directors, brothers Ridley Scott and Tony Scott. Scott Free Films enjoyed a banner 2010, with highly acclaimed features including the international hits Robin Hood, The A-Team, and Unstoppable, and the indie films Cyrus, and Welcome to the Rileys. Next for Scott Free is their documentary, Life in a Day, to be released July 24, 2011 and directed by Kevin Macdonald, which tells the story of a single day on earth using local footage from all over the world. Additionally, Ridley Scott is currently in pre-production on Prometheus, slated for a 2012 release, starring Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, and Noomi Rapace. Scott Free Television produces the Emmy® and Golden Globe® nominated hit TV show The Good Wife for CBS, and the Golden Globe® nominated mini-series The Pillars of the Earth, based on the best-selling book by Ken Follett. They also produced the long-running hit CBS show Numb3rs, which ran for six seasons.
